2006 has been another busy year. The month of March was very busy. We started the month off at the UBC Respiratory Conference at the Vancouver Hotel, Vancouver BC. BCPHS set up an information booth for two days. Doctors, nurses, respiratory technicians, pharmacists and other medical professionals attend this conference from all over western Canada. We handed out a lot of information on Pulmonary Hypertension. Many were surprised at the amount of information we have on PH, let alone that there is a society for it. There will be an article and pictures in next issue of PH Way. On March 18, Darren & Dean's funspeil with live and silent auction was held in Richmond BC. Another huge success!! Over , 000 was raised for BCPHS, a truly amazing amount. This event continues to grow and assists us in our fight against PH. Enabling us to continue reaching goals of the society. March 25, 2007 we held our fifth annual symposium on PH. With the most attendees to date, over 120! An incredible number considering PH is such an unrecognized disease. I very proud of all our volunteers as they help make this event such a wonderful success. Everyone looks forward to next years symposium.
